Seongmo Dental Clinic Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms are intended to stipulate the conditions and procedures for using internet-related services (hereinafter “the Service”provided by Seongmo Dental Clinic (hereinafter “the Clinic”), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Clinic and users.

Article 2 (Definitions)

“User”refers to a member or non-member who accesses the Clinic and receives services provided by the Clinic in accordance with these terms.
“Member”refers to a person who has provided personal information to the Clinic and registered as a member, continuously receives information from the Clinic, and can continuously use the services provided by the Clinic.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)

These terms take effect by being announced through the Service or by notifying members via email or other methods.
The Clinic may amend the contents of these terms without prior notice when important circumstances arise, and the amended terms take effect by being announced or notified in the same manner as paragraph 1.

Article 4 (Contents and Changes of Service)

The Clinic provides services such as appointment scheduling, health information, and online consultation.
The Clinic may change the contents of the services provided when unavoidable circumstances arise.

Article 5 (Obligations of the Clinic)

The Clinic does not engage in acts prohibited by law or these terms or that violate public order and good morals, and does its best to provide services continuously and stably as stipulated in these terms.

Article 6 (Copyright Ownership and Usage Restrictions)

Copyright and other intellectual property rights to works created by the Clinic belong to the Clinic.
Users may not use information obtained through the use of the Service for profit-making purposes by reproducing, transmitting, publishing, distributing, or broadcasting it, or allow third parties to use it, without the Clinic’s prior consent.

These terms are effective as of January 16, 2026.

Privacy Policy

Seongmo Dental Clinic (hereinafter ‘the Clinic’) establishes and discloses the following privacy policy in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act, in order to protect the personal information of data subjects and to promptly and smoothly handle related grievances.

Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)

The Clinic processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information processed will not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent will be implemented in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

Medical treatment and hospitalization, examination reservations, reservation inquiries, and treatment consultation
Providing administrative services such as billing, payment, and refund of medical fees
Securing smooth communication channels for delivering notices and handling complaints

Article 2 (Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information)

The Clinic processes and retains personal information within the retention/use period prescribed by law or the period consented to when collecting personal information from data subjects.

Medical records: 10 years (Article 15 of the Enforcement Rules of the Medical Service Act)
Prescriptions: 2 years
Website membership information: Until membership withdrawal
(However, if an investigation is in progress due to a violation of relevant laws, until the investigation is completed)

Article 3 (Items of Personal Information Processed)

The Clinic collects the minimum personal information necessary for medical treatment and use of additional services.

Required items: Name, Resident Registration Number (pursuant to the Medical Service Act), Address, Contact Information
Optional items: Email, Guardian’s contact information, etc.

Article 4 (Destruction of Personal Information)

The Clinic destroys personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary, such as when the retention period has elapsed or the processing purpose has been achieved.

Article 5 (Personal Information Protection Officer)

The Clinic designates the following Personal Information Protection Officer, who takes overall responsibility for personal information processing and handles complaints and remedies for data subjects.
